Bappi Lahiri Tests Positive For COVID-19; Music Director Admitted To Breach Candy Hospital In Mumbai
There has been a surge in the number of Coronavirus cases in India, and we are facing yet another wave of COVID-19. In the last few weeks, there has been an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, and Bollywood celebrities such as Kartik Aaryan, Aamir Khan, Paresh Rawal, R Madhavan, Ranbir Kapoor had contracted the virus. Now, music director Bappi Lahiri has sadly joined the list of celebrities who have tested positive for COVID-19. His spokesperson shared a statement on behalf of the music director.

In the statement, Bappi Lahiri’s spokesperson revealed that even after taking precautions, the music director has tested positive, and has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He urged all those who came in contact with him recently to get tested for Coronavirus as well. “Despite utmost precautions, unfortunately, Mr Bappi Lahiri has tested positive for Covid 19. He is under very good & expert care at the Breach Candy Hospital. Bappi dada’s family requests all those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure” read the statement.

The statement further continued, “He seeks blessings and wishes of his fans, friends & everyone from India and abroad. On behalf of Bappi Da, we passing his message to all his well-wishers and fans to stay healthy, stay blessed”.


On March 17, Bappi Lahiri had made a post on social media, revealing that he had pre-registered for the COVID-19 vaccine. He also urged all those over the age of 60, and also those aged between 45-59 with a specified co-morbidity, to do the same.
